January Harvest Became a Yummy Soup

It’s sunny outside. And every day there is a little more light, and a little more warmth.
While the garden looks a bit bare, waiting for new plants, there are still a few items to pick:

- delicious home grown broccoli
- dinosaur kale, which interestingly has gotten more red and more purple the older and colder it gets
- two kinds of chard
- a golden stemmed chard and the one called “magenta sunset”, with bright pink stems
- shallots, garlic, a half onion, a couple small potatoes, and a half cup of white beans

Not a bad way to celebrate your winter greens!
